It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Wayne Leonard Knapton. He peacefully passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026.
He was predeceased by his parents William “Bill” and Margaret Knapton. His brother Douglas, grandparents, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and of course, his beloved dog Thor.
He is survived by his wife Roberta, sister Lynn, sons Micheal (Shayla) and William “Bill” Knapton. His step-daughters Deidre (Alec), Jamie Lynn, Bridgette (Tommy), nephew Devon, niece Ashely (Gilbert), great nephews Deason and Grayson, as well as numerous grand children, and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 43 Boyd Rd. Dryden, ON, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at the Best Western.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the Dryden Community Funeral home in proceeds to Wayne.
