Vera-Ellen Kaiser June 20, 1961 - August 24, 2025

It saddens us to announce the passing of Vera-Ellen Kaiser (nee Lindquist), on Sunday, August 24, 2025, with her family by her side at the DRHC.

Vera will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Eric, daughter Dawn-Marie, stepson Byron (Breah) and daughter Jennifer. Grandchildren Brayden, Emma, Daven, and Trinidy, her sister Sherry (Bob) McGogy, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Vera was predeceased by her parents Joel and Georgina Lindquist, brothers Joel and Robert, sisters Heather (Dennis) Westergard, Julie (Stan) Degenhardt and Lori Wong. Son-in-law Lanny Perlin. Father-in-law Bobby, Mother-in-law Lucy, brother-in-law Doug, sisters-in-law Carol (Ron) and Kim.

Vera was born on June 20, 1961, in Dryden. She grew up in Vermilion Bay, Dryden, and Sioux Lookout. During her working years she worked at Husky, Woolco carried on to Walmart and Princess Court.

Vera will be remembered by many for the “VERA Look”, her quick and witty comebacks and her gift for gab. She was considered second mom to many of Dawn-Marie and Jennifer’s friends, as well as a grandma to their children.

Family was everything to Eric and Vera. They enjoyed everything from sliding parties to backyard campfires to camping with all the kids and grandkids at Amesdale and the occasional trip to Little Joe.

The family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses that cared for Vera through her journey.

As per Vera’s request, cremation has taken place with no Funeral to follow.
