Palmer Weberg May 22, 1929 - December 18, 2023

The family of Paddy Weberg wish to announce his passing on December 18, 2023 at his home in Eagle River that he helped build in 1947.

Paddy was pre-deceased by his Swedish/Norwegian Grandparents, parents, and a brother he never knew.

Left to remember him is his loving wife of 64 years Grace, children Wanda (Allen), Darwin, Jim (Jackie), Melanie (Greg), and Melody (Dan). Two Grandsons Steven (Mandi) and Michael (Heather) and four great-grandsons Jake, Russel, Kane, and Corbin.

Paddy was born in Secretan, Saskatchewan and moved to Eagle River when he was two years old. He loved country music like Murna Laury, Loretta Lynn, and Patsy Cline. He enjoyed travelling and visiting museums along the way. He liked antiques of all kinds, but auto was most enjoyed.

Paddy worked as a mechanic for himself and for others. His self-taught abilities made him a jack of all trades. He retired from the Municipality of Machin in 1994. He loved animals after raising a deer from a baby. His sled dog, cat ginger and his last cat Tweaky gave him great pleasure. Clint Eastwood and John Wayne movies were watched over and over. Paddy was cutting grass and tinkering with his pontoon boat till the end.

Thank you to everyone,

                             The Weberg’s.

A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.

We only met Paddy in the early eighty’s on the CB Radio , but he became almost a daily contact in the evenings in the summer months from our Island Summer Resort on Kakagi Lake in NW Ontario . Only once in the late eighty’s did we meet when I arranged to pick up both Paddy & Grace at there place in Eagle River with our Float Plane for the day, which was most enjoyable by all , like we had known them all of our life , they say after you go thru life you can likely count all of your “True Friend’s ” on one hand ” Rest in Peace Paddy ” God Bless You Mel Hurdle & Family
