Atsuko “Sue” Brown March 8, 1940 - December 7, 2023

With heavy hearts the family of Sue (Atsuko) Brown nee Minaki, announce her peaceful passing on December 7, 2023 at the age of 83.

Sue is survived by her three children, Becky Job (Patrick) of Calgary, Steven Brown (Anne) of Dryden, Pam Todd (Jason) of White Horse and seven grandchildren; Gloria, Tracey, Scott, Kristin, Derek, Darren, and Gabrielle, as well as the great-grandchildren Sedona, Bronson, Mira, Camryn, Dorian Junior, and Carson.

The grandchildren and great grandchildren brought Sue a lot of joy. She loved when they came to visit and was proud of each and every one of them. She was a compassionate person who loved helping others and often did so during her years at Princess Court. She had great organizational skills that were used in various bookkeeping jobs over the years. Sue had a love for cooking and made several memorable dishes that were second to none. Gardening was also a passion she enjoyed and many plants and flowers thrived under her care.

Throughout her life, she dealt with many hardships and challenges, and showed a great inner strength while doing so.

We wish to extend a special thank you to the staff at Princess Court, Dr. Wilson Smith and Marlene Fenelon for their exceptional care and compassion.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
