Nicole Belleville July 12, 1972 - July 3, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved sister Nicole Carmen Belleville, on July 3, 2022.

Nicole (Nik) was predeceased by her parents Denis and Jeannette.  She will be forever remembered and missed by her brother Marc (Tracy), niece Martina, and nephew Daniel, of Thunder Bay; and sister Yvette (Andie) of Burlington; as well as numerous cousins and countless friends.

Nik was born in Kenora and moved to Dryden in 1980.  In Dryden, she attended St. Joseph’s School and Dryden High School, before attending Confederation College in Thunder Bay.  She worked with the MNR for a few years, enjoying the opportunities to spot/count moose from a helicopter and work on the development of the Laura Howe Marsh.  In 2001, Nik started selling homes alongside her father (Denis) at Sunset Country Realty Inc.  Like Denis, she had a great sense of humour, was super friendly, and loved to help people.

Over the years, Nik enjoyed playing baseball and soccer, spending time with friends and family, and in the last few years, being involved with the Rotary Club of Dryden.

Nicole was the most caring, generous, and good-humoured person we’ve ever known and everyone that knew her will miss her deeply.

A Celebration of Life and a private family interment will take place at a later date.

Please accept my condolences. I played ball with Nik for several years on the Devils team. She had such an infectious laugh! She would give me a call, when we lived in town, (out of the blue) and we would chat for at least a half hour. She was always a daddy’s girl, so now they’re together again. Nik was a great person, I am fortunate to have known her.

Please accept my sincere and deepest sympathy during your time of sorrow. I first met Nicole through her Dad and working a Rotary luncheon. She was such a lovely lady and so very courageous in the struggles she went through. She will be remembered by her strength and bubbly personality and I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to have her enter my life. Sending thoughts and prayers to all of you during this most difficult time. Lorraine Wyder 🙏
