Born in Dryden, ON to Johan and Freda alongside his twin sister June. Louis raised his four children and continued to live in Dryden until relocating to Manitoba in his senior years. Louis passed away peacefully.
Predeceased by his parents, sons Allen and Gregory and twin sister June. Survived by his wife Nicole, daughter Lynn and son Clifford (Denise), grandchildren Kimberly (Dave), Melissa (Ben), Cliff, Christopher, Kristyn (Cecil) and great-grandchildren Olivia, Sophia, Burreaux, Gracelynn, Michael, Andrew, Rhys, and Blake.
Louis appreciated the beauty in a simple life and loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, movies, reading, card games, and bowling on a league well into his nineties.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a small private family gathering will follow at a later date.
