Lenard "Len" Monahan - Dryden Community Funeral Home

In loving memory of Len Monahan who peacefully passed on September 29, 2021 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.

Born January 18, 1946 in New Market, Ontario.

Len is survived by his wife Linda of 55 years, daughter Laura (Jaysen) Zieroth, son Lee (Sheri) Monahan, grandchildren Johnathan (Jessica) Monahan, Shelby (Tyler) Herman, Joel (Emma) and Darra (Colin), great- grandchildren Hadley, Rogan, Delaney and Griffin, brother Gerry, sister Barbara (Rick), and sister-in-law Betty.

Len was a brick and stone mason for 56 years with Local 25 out of Thunder Bay. He travelled throughout Canada and the United States for his work. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting.

Cremation has taken place.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.

My sincere condolences to You Linda and your Family with the loss of Len.
He was a fine man and friend to say the least, we enjoyed many winter fishing trips.
May Our gracious Lord grant You and family His Peace and Graces this difficult time.

Dear Linda & Family our sincere condolences on the passing of Len. I worked as a Brick & Stone Mason Apprentice under Len on several jobs, I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor and an even better person. Len will be dearly missed but not forgotten Rest In Peace Tom & Tammy

Met Len while working in Kenora, 2003.
