Judith “Judy” Spence July 13, 1940 - March 14, 2026

A loving sister, a cherished aunt, and a beautiful soul – we are saddened to announce Judith (Judy) Spence passed away peacefully at the Dryden Regional Health Centre on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the age of 85.

She is lovingly remembered by her twin sisters Jean (Jake) Janzen and Joan Cassity, her brother, Bob (Ginette) Spence, passed away just two days later. Eight nieces and their families will also carry fond memories and the legacy of her love into their futures.

Judy was predeceased by her parents Tom and Aileen Spence, and brother-in-law Carl Cassity.

Her signature grin and playful sense of humour will be missed by so many. We are particularly grateful to Lori Feller and Sharon Hyatt, who supported Judy for over 30 years. They both empowered Judy to live life to the fullest and took her on many wonderful adventures. More than Judy’s care counsellor, Lori and Sharon were family.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to ALL of the staff at Community Living in Dryden. Their compassion and care made a lasting difference in Judy’s life and will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Living (Dryden-Sioux Lookout), 280 Arthur St. Dryden, ON P8N 1K9
