April 19, 1947 – June 2, 2018

In loving memory of Judi Beaudry, age 71, who passed away suddenly on June 2, 2018.

Judi is survived by her partner and long-time friend Bill Parenteau, brother’s; Vernon (Elva) Schussler, Art Schussler, Les (Gayle) Schussler, children; Chris Beaudry, Ritch Newfome and Michelle (Dave) Hamilton, grandchildren; Piper Beaudry, Jaydon Newfome, Holly Hamilton and Hailey Hamilton, many nieces and nephews as well as Bill’s children; Mike Parenteau, Pam (Waylan) Wetelainen, Bob (Rhonda) Parenteau and Cori (Roddy) Brown.

Judi is predeceased by her parents Eric and Caroline Schussler and her sister-in-law Wilma Schussler.

Judi was born and raised in Dryden but when she was older, decided to move to Winnipeg to open her own Hair Salon which she ran for over 30 years. She moved back to Dryden in 1998 where she reconnected with Bill, whom she’d known all her life, and moved in with him in early 1999, and they’ve been together ever since.

After moving back to Dryden, Judi took a position as a secretary for the Wabigoon Lake Elders and worked with Bill tending bar. Judi had many hobbies and passions. She loved bingo! She played at the Wabigoon and Eagle Lake Reserves and even played radio bingo. She enjoyed her scratch tickets, played cribbage in the Wabigoon Lake tournaments and at the Metis Centre. She loved blueberries but preferred to buy them and not pick them and fishing. Her true passion was her animals; Baby, Sunny and Brandy, she treated them like they were her own children.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Judi’s life will take place on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Wabigoon Memorial Hall.

Internment will take place at a later date.
