March 5, 2026 at 1:30 pmKnowing that John had many obstacles to overcome in his too short life, he did face these head on and tried his best. He was a sweet and gentle big boy, kind and generous, always ready to help where he could without expectations of grand acknowledgement. Your Aunt Jane always loved you deeply. I am relieved that you now may rest in peace. Condolences to Klaas and his daughter Lisa with John’s untimely passing.

March 6, 2026 at 7:58 pmI got to know John on a couple of our boys ski outings to Quebec.
In my eyes, John was one of the good one’s.
A great guy with a down to earth, innocent, appreciative and loving vibe.
Guess it really is true when they say,
“Only the good die young”
We all loved you Johnny.
Gone but not soon forgotten.
A toast is coming your way next week on another ski trip to Mt. Tremblant.
An honour to have known you my friend.

March 7, 2026 at 2:47 amGot to know John on a couple of our boys ski vacations to Quebec. In my eyes, John was truly one of the good one’s. He had an innocence to him that was truly unique. As grounded, friendly and family oriented as they come.
A toast in John’s honour will be coming forth tonight as some of us ski boys get together.
John’s laugh and smile were infectious and a pleasure to be around.
Knowing John was feeling good about yourself and the life we live.
It is my distinct honour to have known John.
