In loving memory of Jack Pitchenese who passed away on June 19, 2022.

Jack is survived by his children; Shyanne Strong and family, Miles (Roxanne, Carter and Broncs) Zack (Darian, Hunter Naise and Kenzie), and Jenny (Colin, Lakyn and Drayson), brothers; Don (Dolly), and Daniel (Phyliss), and sisters; Beverly, Julia (Mike) and Isabel. He is also survived by all his beloved nieces and nephews. Jack was blessed with a large and loving family. Being a grandpa (papa) came naturally and he loved all his grandchildren.

Jack was predeceased by his Mom and Dad, Maryanna and Harry Pitchenese, brothers; Albert, Leonard and Peter, sisters; Victoria, Elsie and Margaret and his son Matthew.

Jack loved his work as a bingo manager, but in his down-time he enjoyed karaoke and you would always find him with a microphone in hand. He also enjoyed sports, baseball, hockey, golf, bowling, and fishing  and played many when he was younger. His favourite sports teams were the Montreal Canadiens, Kansas City Chiefs and the Toronto Blue Jays. He also enjoyed coaching for hockey and baseball and was a pitcher for fastball.

Jack was a jokester and a ladies man. There are many fond memories and he will be missed.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 1 p.m. until time of service at the Eagle Lake Community Centre.

A Traditional Service will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Eagle Lake Community Centre with an Elder officiating.

Interment will follow in the Migisi Sahgaigan First Nation Cemetery.
