Evelyn Adamyk
November 23, 1941 – May 19, 2019
In loving memory of Evelyn Adamyk, age 77, who passed away on May 19, 2019 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
Evelyn was born in Dryden to George and Violet Hazlewood.
Evelyn is survived by Lucille (Jeff) Marion, Michael (Cathy) Langlais, brothers Stanley (Brenda) Hazlewood and Tom Hazlewood, sister Linda (Bill) Wright and numerous nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by Tom Huggett, her parents George and Violet Hazlewood, Mike Adamyk and nephew Scott Hazlewood.
Evelyn will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, her love of a good card game and her big generous heart. Evelyn served on the Board of Directors for the Dryden Go-Getters Club as well as President for the Club. She volunteered with the Go-Getters for many events including ticket selling etc., and was the smiling face that greeted you for the club’s Pancake Breakfasts. Evelyn also volunteered as a driver for Meals on Wheels.
She always had time for a short story or joke, or to simply give a compliment or hug.
