It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Debbie Lee Sanders at the Dryden Regional Health Centre on the morning of Saturday, August 22nd, 2026. She was 66 years old.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gordon Sanders; her sons Josh (grandson Memphis) and Scott; her sister Theresa Hoey; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Debbie enjoyed hosting parties, spending time with family, fishing, and swimming on Thunder Lake where her and Gord raised their two boys. One of her proudest moments was becoming a grandmother to Memphis Sanders on October 26th, 2022.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Dryden Community Funeral Home from 1 – 3 p.m. The interment of ashes will be announced at a later date.
