In Loving Memory of…
Carol Palmer
April 15th, 1950 – January 5th, 2026
Carol Jean Palmer (née Vickery) passed away peacefully in Dryden on January 5th, 2026.
Carol was born to Margaret and Glen Vickery on April 15th, 1950.
Carol is survived by her daughter Sherry Gauthier and Grandson Scott Wagar; Gary’s two sisters, Connie and Hope (Dale); several nieces, nephews and a step-grandson. She also leaves behind a very large circle of devoted friends.
Carol was predeceased by her parents Margaret and Glen, Brother James, and Sister Elizabeth. As well, Husband Gary, Daughter Michelle and Son Michael.
Carol was raised in Ridgetown, met Gary in 1970 and had three children together. Gary was later relocated to Dryden in 1985, with the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office.
Carol was an all season outdoor enthusiast. She was a strong, resilient wife, mother and friend. Carol’s true life desire was to be a natural health practitioner. Reflexology and acupressure were her calling.
The Family and just as Carol was, are grateful for her special friends, Riaan, Helen, June, Fatima, Tammy, Faye and Dodi. Thank you to all who shared friendship with Carol.
Per her wishes, Cremation and a Private Celebration of Life has taken place. An Interment of ashes will take place at the Gosnell Cemetery in Highgate Ontario, where Carol will be put to rest with her Family.
