A truckers last ride….
It is with great sadness that we share that this trucker hung up his keys.
Very few could keep up. Biggest heart, loyal to a fault and would give you the shirt off his back. Your smiles, humour, sarcasm and hugs will forever be missed. Brother, dad, uncle, poppa, friend, veteran, regardless of what label you put on him, it means respect, love, loyalty and laughter. He would want us to celebrate his life… not mourn.
He is survived by his sister Karen, brother Brooks, daughter Maggie Matsalla, son Blake Kesick Jr., daughter Melissa Kesick, daughter Harley Kesick, and son Coleton Kesick. Grandchildren, Angelica Matsalla, Alyssia Hawryluk, Ethan Bassingthwaite, Raine Loon/Kesick, Madeline Kesick, Great grand-daughter Sawyer Hulst. He is pre-deceased by his love Sheila Kirkrude, Parents Fraser and Mary Kesick, Brother David, Sister Ann, Brother Sam, Brother Franz, Brother Lawrence, and Sister Mary.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. As per his wishes, no service will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
A Truckers Prayer
Oh Lord, be with me today
as I head out onto the open road
for I know not the dangers that this day
may hold with a map by my side.
Oh Lord, let it be you that is my daily guide and as
I head out to where the yellow line never ends,
It sure is good to know that you will be riding
with me once again, and when I have taken
my last load, there will be one final trip
that I must take, one that will be on a road
that is paved with gold and there I will rest
for there will be no more trips to take once
I have entered Heavens Gates.
