Beverly Rosche December 23, 2024

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Beverly Rosche of Dryden, Ontario, who passed away peacefully on July 13, 2022 at the age of 75.

Bev was born in Fort William and grew up in Dryden where she spent her childhood playing outdoors with her brothers and friends. She graduated Dryden High School with fond memories and continued on to graduate from nursing collage in Thunder Bay. Bev met Ken while she worked at Pitts Music Store, they married in 1971 and began the adventure of parenthood with their firstborn Chad. Together they set out, moving from Dryden to many destinations in Ontario. They made their way out to western Canada where Bev had her next two children Christine and Kim. Bev’s friendliness and love of caring for others gained a community of friends who became like family. After twenty years of living in Alberta, Bev and Ken decided to return to their roots in Dryden. Bev reunited with her family and many dear childhood friends. She spent the past 30 years focusing on her family as well as taking care of others while working for Home Care and Walmart, and her heart grew even bigger with the arrival of each beloved grandchild. Bev’s passion for helping others carried into everything she did. There was always something on her agenda that involved making people’s lives better.

Bev also showed her family the meaning of bravery and courage as she faced leukemia. She fought hard to recover from severe illness and lived a healthy five years. Recently the leukemia returned, and she was able to be surrounded by loving family as she passed.

Bev’s heart had room for everyone she met and put everybody she knew at ease with her great humor and generous spirit. She has left a legacy of love and kindness in all the hearts she has touched.

Bev is survived by her husband Ken Rosche of Dryden, son Chad Rosche (Anne) of Calgary, AB, daughters Christine Rosche of Sudbury, ON, and Kim Campbell (Trevor) of Eagle River, ON. Her brother Russ (Paulette) of Sudbury, Sister-in-law Amy Rosche of Slave Lake, AB, and Aunt Mary Shorrock of Dryden. Grandchildren Maya, Kennedy, Caleb and Kaylan as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. And lifelong friend Helen Hatch of Dryden.

Bev was predeceased by her infant son Kevin. Parents Laura and Jim Shorrock, brother Larry Shorrock (Vicki), father and mother-in-law Roy and Cecelia Rosche, and brother-in-law Brian Rosche.
