Fred Pepper July 26, 1975 - July 13, 2022

Date of Funeral

July 21, 2022

Fred was very involved in his community. He worked for many years at the Chip Box and the Fall Fair. He was employed in maintenance at the Best Western where he made friends with his co-workers. He truly enjoyed his work there. They honoured him with Smiles for Freddy day on July 14, 2022. Fred was never out of work, he showed initiative in starting his own window cleaning business. He could assemble anything, mostly without instructions, like TV’s stands, shelving units, bikes, snow blowers, he could do it all. Fred was always willing to help out whenever anyone needed a hand. He has a special second family at Community Living. He was an avid Ice Dogs fan, and also volunteered for them as a security guard. He was an avid bowler with Special Olympics. His many friends at Community Living will miss his enthusiasm and team spirit.

Fred leaves behind his family mourning in his passing; wife Christine and daughters Monica Pepper Tetley, and Kayla Oliphant, brother Craig Pepper (Sarah) and children Jayden, Trina, Dustin and Ethan, sister Liz Catlin and daughters Dakota and Mykailla, brother Tim Catlin (Pam Arnold) and children Jason and Hailey, mother Darlene Catlin, grand-mother Gwen Rody, special aunts Kathleen Coombes, Judith Bolin (John), and Olga Halchuk (Craig), uncles Eric, Scott, and Adam Moline, aunts Susan Bond (Wayne), Kathy McMillan (Richard) and Janie Rose, uncles David Rose and Darrel (Angie) Rody, mother-in-law Gillian Leutschaft, brothers-in-law Gordon Tetley (Marcy and Madeleine), and James Tetley (MacKenzie, Brayden, and Alorah), and all of his extended family from Southern Ontario.

Fred was predeceased by his father Rodney Pepper, Grand-parents Enoch and Violet Moline, grandfather George Rose and step-grandfather Martin Rody.

He will also be greatly missed by his family near and far including his Community Living family, co-workers, acquaintances, staff, and friends.

All who knew Fred, knew of his love and dedication for Monica which showed greatly in all he did. He loved being a daddy.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Dryden Free Methodist Church with Pastor Dorian Powell officiating.

Interment will take place at a later date.
