If you are reading this, then know I’m resting comfortable in peace. I may have been young in death, but I was so very fortunate to live the life I did. Being born a red head, I always did things my own way, dug my heels in when needed.
I was lucky enough to live in many places. When I was a kid with our parents, we moved from Sweden, then Pakistan, back to Sweden, then to Canada, where I made it my home.
I had the opportunity to jump into a move to Sweden. I jumped in with both feet. I was back in Sweden only 11 days later and stayed for two years, exploring Scandinavia on my days off. Oh, did I mention I loved travelling or moving on my own? How else would I have met the friends who are now family to me.
I’ve travelled, I’ve grounded, I’ve accepted.
I had to sometimes jump with both feet, no net, into the unknown, and it’s let me have the best family and friends.
My only regret is losing people before me, Lena and Werner Schnelzer, my Mom and Dad. Alf Kihlström, my father. Christina Schnelzer (Kicki), my sister and Curtis Soto, my step-son.
I was blessed to have friends and family around me when I passed.
I am sad to leave behind my life partner Bruce Heil, sisters Annette Cone (Kevin) and Aloisia Lastella (Ernie). All my bonus kids Emilio Soto (Angie), Alice Schnelzer, Morgan Nicolay (Joel), Cassidy McEvoy (Noah), and Emily Heil (Matt). Our three amazing grandkids, Alanzo, Gavin & Brynn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. I also leave behind my brat of a cat Hunter and my lil’ brown dog, Hank.

A Memorial will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in the afternoon in the basement of the Riverview Lodge.
