Miss Me ~ But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road

And the sun has set for me,

I want no rites in a gloom filled room,

Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little-but not too long,

And not with your head bowed low.

Remember the love we once shared,

Miss me-but let me go.

For this is a journey we must all take,

And each must go alone.

It’s all a part of the Master plan,

A step on the road to home.

Al was one of my dearest and closest friends in Dryden. He was my handiman, my fishing companion and best of all a friend. The many hours we spent on the lake, with Al at the tiller are special but none more than the time we took my grandson Cooper with us. Lunches or breakfast at Twin Towers or A&W, and All with his thin tea.always left me puzzled. My condolences to his family.

    Sending deepest condolences.
Was shocked to learn Al had passed.
When I was visiting in Dryden last September I had run into him when shopping at Mark’s. As I now live in Calgary he shared some of is experiences from when he lived there.
