Virginia Mable Piche

April 29, 1942- August 26, 2023

This August 26th, Virginia Mable Piche took her final breath, with her family by her side after a courageous struggle with Dementia where she found peace at Patricia Gardens in Dryden, ON. Virginia’s legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to share her life.

Virginia’s devotion to her family was unwavering, and her children, Lori Schmunk (Mike), Randy Piche (Tannise), and Rick Piche (Sheila), held a special place in her heart. Her memory will continue to be cherished by her beloved sibling, Rose (Jerry), along with her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who were a source of immeasurable joy to her.

In both the small moments and grand gestures, Virginia’s presence was a beacon of warmth and love. Her life was a testament to the bonds she cultivated and the kindness she spread. As we remember her, we can’t help but reflect on the wonderful memories she shared with each of us.

Virginia’s rich and vibrant life was adorned with her passions for crafts, card games, including Yahtzee, knitting, and her dedication to volunteering with a breast cancer support group. She was a loyal and cherished member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, and she also found immense joy in the sports of curling, archery, and darts.

Virginia now joins her beloved husband, Harold Piche, her brother, Robert Pittman, and her parents Vira and Charles Pittman who preceded her in passing. While her physical presence may have faded, the lessons she taught, the love she shared, and the impact she made will forever endure in the tapestry of our lives.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, let us find solace in the knowledge that Virginia’s spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. As we bid her farewell, let us remember her smiles, her contagious laugh, and her big heart.

The family would like to thank all the nurses, and personal support workers who cared for her over the years.

There will be no formal service but a private Celebration of Life with her family.
