Gail Haydu September 20, 1941 - October 12, 2021

In loving memory of Dorothy Gail Haydu who passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Dryden Regional Health Centre at the age of 80.

Gail is predeceased by her husband Joseph Haydu, parents George and Marianne. Brother Glenn and an infant son Jason Troy.

She leaves behind her son Chris Haydu (Teresa), daughters Joanne Schmidt (Eugene) and Shelly Nystrom (Brent), grandchildren Crystal (Brandon), Tonya (Travis), Cassidy, Andrew, Jesse, Colton (MiKayla), Doug and Jeff, great-grandchildren Hope, Cherish and JoLynn, brother Keith (Edda), friend Larry Byrd and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gail loved to socialize, dance, bowl and spend time with family.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Father Alan Campeau officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dryden Cemetery.

    My condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. She was such a kind, caring and compassionate lady. Gail was selfless in her giving and always put the needs of others before herself. Crystal looked forward to those long distant calls and long chats with Grandma. She will be missed by many. RIP Gail.
