Zoe Tetley June 23, 1961 - October 21, 2023

On October 21, 2023, Zoe Ruth Tetley (Bjorklund) loving, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away peacefully at the age of 62, at Lakeshore Long-Term Care Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Zoe is survived by her son, Eric and granddaughter, Violet Grace, her mother Grace Bjorklund and siblings Naomi (Leonard) Peters, Timothy (Deborah) and Peter (Paula), as well as her step-children Gordon, Jamie and Christine and their families, numerous aunties and uncles, nieces, cousins and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband John Tetley and father Ivan Bjorklund.

Zoe was born in Whitemouth, Manitoba on June 23, 1961, to Ivan and Grace Bjorklund. She graduated high school from Kelwood Collegiate, Manitoba and Lakehead University in Thunder Bay as a Registered Nurse and worked both in Thunder Bay and Dryden Hospitals. She married John Tetley in 1993 and shortly after became his caregiver throughout his final years. In her final years, she battled numerous health issues brought on by diabetes.

We are sincerely grateful to those who have given her support and comfort during her time while she was at home and in hospital. Thank you to all the physicians and staff at DRHC and Lakeshore Manor who made sure Zoe was comfortable and family kept updated with Zoe’s condition.

In accordance to Zoe’s wishes, a simple and private internment of her remains will take place in Whitemouth Municipal Cemetery.

A Celebration of her Life will be held in 2024.
