Expressions of sympathy may be sent to dcfh@drytel.net subject heading: Williams

In loving memory of Billy Williams who passed away suddenly on November 16, 2019 at the age of 58.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, soul mate and best friend Anita, his sons; Sean (Joy) and children Nicholas, Anna and Serena and Wesley (Mary) and daughter Kinley, Anita’s son; Byron (Bree) and daughter Trinidy and Billy’s parents; Donald and Marie. He is also survived by his siblings Lloyd (Arlene), Roger and Donna and nieces and nephews Allan (Jennifer) and children Aubrie and Tannen, Kyle (Amanda) and children Parker and Rogan, Brett (Jodi) and daughter Casey, Brittany (Brent) and daughter Aurora, Brianna (Shayne) and son Hudson and Tonielle.

Billy and Anita met when she was just 10 years old and they dated for a short time in 1983. Life ended up leading them in different directions but they remained in contact all those years. In December, 2008 their love for each other blossomed once again and they became inseparable.  On August 16, 2014 they were married. They spent 24/7 together and the only time they were apart was when there were appointments or shopping to be done. They enjoyed hunting and fishing together and they would take their dog Chucky for buggy rides. Anita and Chucky would walk while Billy drove and when Chucky would get tired they would all hop on the buggy and head home. Chucky was Billy’s sidekick. Anywhere he went his furry companion was with him. Billy and Anita had two other dog’s that were a big part of their lives, Cujo and Bowser. They both passed in January, 2015. They are missed greatly.

Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors. He loved machinery! He had many toys that he would drive around and work on. He was often seen on his side by side driving around the property.

Billy started out his working career in logging and then construction. In 1985 he hurt his wrist and couldn’t go back to construction. Billy decided to go back to school and get training in Social Work and childcare. Billy and his friend Seech founded Wabaseemoomg Child Welfare Authority (as it’s called now) in Kenora. They helped many children in unfortunate situations get the help they needed. After many years in child care, he decided to start his own trucking business and after that a computer store. In 2000 he headed to the United States to pursue other ventures until 2008 when he reconnected with Anita and truly began his life.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. As per Billy’s wishes there will be no service.
