It is with deep sadness we inform you that Susan passed away suddenly at her home in Dryden, Ontario May 26, 2025. Susan was the 6th child and 3rd daughter, born July 21, 1955 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Jack and Kate “Ida” (nee Douglas) Carr.
She was raised in Manitoba and Ontario with her siblings. After graduating from Dryden High School, Susan studied Office administration/secretarial at Confederation College in Thunder Bay. Susan worked in the restaurant industry for most of her career. Later in life she drove taxicab for Cabbie’s Taxi Services until approximately 2023 when she retired.
She was predeceased by the love of her life of 37 years, Ralph Brown, as well as her parents, Jack and Ida Carr, brothers Tom Carr and Doug Carr, and her sister Maureen Jack.
Susan is survived by her older sister, Marie McInnis, (John), older brother Harry Carr (Donalda), half- brothers Terry Triskle and Dale Carr (Corina), brother-in-law Larry Jack, and sisters-in-law Mary Carr and Thorlene Thordarson. Susan is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many, many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
