Steven Hatch January 18, 1965 - April 1, 2026

In Loving Memory of Steven (Snag) Hatch

On the afternoon of April 1, with his family beside him, Steven quietly passed away. His final moments were peaceful and surrounded by the love of those closest to him.

Steven was born on January 18, 1965, to George and Betty Hatch in Dryden. He grew up in Dryden alongside his siblings.

He leaves behind brothers Craig (Mary Lou), Shane (Heather), Brian (Bonnie), and brother-in-law Gary, nieces Lindsey (Dave), Ashley (David), Nicki (Matt), Vicki (David), Tessa (Riley), Maddison, nephew Scott (Samantha), and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved sister Kim.

Steven will be missed dearly by his best buddies: Emmanuel, John, Ron, and Ted. His friendships were a meaningful part of his life, and he cherished the time spent with them.

Like most of the Hatch boys, Steven’s first job was at Grove Side Dairy, working alongside his dad, uncles, brothers, and cousins where he got his amazing work ethic. He later worked with his brother Shane at Vacationland Dairy, PRT Growing Services and most recently the Chalet Inn.

Steven led a life, surrounded by family and friends. He found joy in spending time at camp, attending family gatherings, and simply enjoying life’s moments. We will remember his quirky sense of humour, his walk-by pokes in the ribs to family, his love of reading and history, his meticulous organization and his work ethic.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Second Chance Pet Network, Box 343, Dryden, ON P8N 2Z1

    Love you uncle Steve.
No matter what you were going through you always had a smile that covered up the pain. A goodbye none of us were ready for but now you get to be at peace with gram and auntie Kim. 🩷

Steven you were always a loyal and kind friend and loved a good laugh even if it was at your own expense. You never complained and always pushed through your struggles. The boys and I are still in disbelief and it’s not going to be the same without you. Missing you already.
My condolences to the Hatch Family. His family meant the world to him and he spoke highly of you.
