Sharleen Warren December 26, 1949 - April 7, 2024

With deep sorrow, we sadly share that our mother and wife, Sharleen Grace Warren (nee Spillett), aged 74, peacefully passed away with her family by her side at the Dryden Regional Health Centre after battling a multitude of health issues on Sunday, April 7th, 2024. Sharleen, born December 26, 1949 in Thunder Bay, Ontario spent her final years living in Ignace, Ontario with husband Brian Warren.
Mom was known for her love of baking and oftentimes shared her baking trays with all those who knew her. Over the last few years, she happily donated to her community and friends through volunteering, as well as her contributions of baking, cooking and knitting. Everyone who received one of mom’s homemade treats or her lovingly, hand-knit sweaters or blankets will share in this cherished memory.

Anyone who knew Sharleen or drove by Sharleen’s house, knew her other biggest passion was her gardens. She would spend hours upon hours tending to her gardens and proudly sharing the products of her labors with others. Mom was also an avid bingo enthusiast and spent many hours socially dabbing away with friends.

Sharleen is survived by her husband of 24 years, Brian Warren and their beloved dog Sydney, her son Cal (Shannon) Doudiet, daughters’ Tammy (Bill) Percival and Tasha Doudiet, as well as 6 granddaughters, Vicki (Geoff), Katelyn, Amy (Kim), Makenna, Kira, and Cynthia, as well as the newest female addition, her great- granddaughter Hannah, all whom she deeply loved and will miss dearly. Sharleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ernest “Ernie” Ross Doudiet (d 1997).

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Kerri Wilson and the Nurses in CCU for their kindness, support and care shown to ensure Sharleen’s comfort in her final hours.

To honor Sharleen’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. There will be a small private celebration of life after which she will be buried at the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Dinorwic at a later time to be determined by the family.

Sharleen continued to keep connected with me even after I moved from NWO more than two decades ago. She always had an encouraging and loving word for me and I know the family will miss her. I hope that memories of the good times and the love you shared keep you company during the grieving process. Sending our heartfelt love and prayers for healing and peace. Steve and Sharen

My sister Judy and myself would like to give our condolences to Sharleen’s family. Although we have not talked in many years, I have followed her on face book and know she was an extremally generous person. It sadden me that she has past.
