Robert Clark June 25, 1958 - May 3, 2022

In tears we saw you sinking,

We watched you fade away,

You suffered much in silence,

You fought so hard to stay.

You faced your task with courage,

Your spirit did not bend,

But still you kept on fighting

Until the very end.

God saw you getting tired

When a cure was not to be,

So he put his arms around you

And whispered “Come to Me”.

When we saw you sleeping

So peaceful, free from pain,

We could not wish you back.

To suffer that again.

We love you always,

Until we meet again.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A Private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

I am so sad to hear of your passing…even sadder no one wrote an obituary for you. I have known you since I was 14 years old…a life time. You and Dave shared a 1 room place at Hillsdale? Was that name? Anyway you always had a prickly demenour, I think more to keep from getting hurt yourself, but you had a soft heart that I saw many times…I thought of you often Bob Clark, you are and will be missed. You and Gary can have a beer together ❤️

Bob Clark – Also Known As – B O B Bob – I knew Bob for many years: from his days of driving for UPS to working at the P.I. Bar (many laughs with him for the 7 years I worked there) to his taxi driving days where he most recently picked up a bunch of girls from our Annual Girls Christmas Party, and I had the opportunity to give him a kiss on the cheek for being such a sport with all the loud/unruly Girls!! He was always there to “protect us” girls on the job at the P.I. and it was a pleasure to have known him. Hope you have a chance to have one more cocktail with Linda Cockriell “up there” and have a laugh or two!
