In loving memory of Rhejane (Jeanne) Potter who passed away peacefully on Monday March 2nd at the Dryden Regional Health Center with her family by her side.

She is survived by her sons Dennis (Lisa) and Marcel (Lori) of Dryden, daughter Tammy (Clint), grandchildren Ryan (Shanna) of Winkler MB, Justin (Mandy) of Winnipeg MB, Tyler (Hannah) of Dryden ON, Jamie (Matt) of Meaford ON, Travis (Jai) of Grande Prairie AB, Meghan (Micky) of Red Lake, Jared of LaBroquerie; and great grandchildren, Levi, Sawyer, Kolbyn, Merynne, Ella, Livia, Ember and Natalie. Her sisters Madeline (Vic) of Dryden, Claudette (Jerry) of Dryden, Monique (Pauli) of Dryden, and Jesse (Claude) of Thunder Bay and brother Roland (Betty) of Dryden, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Thomas Potter, parents Dominique and Leona Levesque, brother Joseph, sister Lizette and nephew Darryl.

Jeanne was born to Dominique and Leona Levesque November 30th, 1940, in Rimouski Quebec. She spent her adult life in Eton Rugby, and Dryden. She married Tom on October 16th, 1957, and they were married for 57 years. Jeanne’s main interest was her family. Jeanne was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also very dedicated to her career as a server at a variety of Dryden’s establishments including the Dryden House, JP’s Roadhouse, and the Central. She loved being a hostess and cherished the relationships she made both at work and in her personal life. Jeanne also enjoyed a variety of hobbies including camping and her trips to casinos.

A Memorial Visitation will take place from 5:30 – 8 p.m. with Prayers at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at the Dryden Community Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 6th, 2020 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Alan Campeau officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeanne’s Grandchildren. The family would like to invite all attending to a luncheon immediately following the service. Interment will follow in the Dryden Cemetery.
