In loving memory of Edith Pearl Croom, known by all as Pearl. She was born and raised in Humboldt, Saskatchewan to her loving parents Clifford and May Robinson. She always had a caring nature and loved to help others, which led to her arrival in Dryden, ON in the year of 1949 to work at the Red Cross Hospital as a C.N.A till 1951. Pearl then moved on to work at the Dingwall Clinic from 1952-1958.
Pearl married the love of her life Phil Croom on June 4, 1956 and they thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, travelling hours on end together, curling, and golfing. Pearl belonged to the Lady’s Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63 and was a lifetime member of the Dryden Go Getters Club where she enjoyed the company of others and playing cards with her friends. She was also a member of the Horse Choe Club and the Curling Club.
Pearl is survived by her niece-in-law Lois Croom of Dryden, nieces and nephew; Patricia (Larry) Laurin, Joan (Peter) McWha, and Brian Butler, all of Southern Ontario.
Pearl is predeceased by her husband Phil, sister Vera (Bill) Butler, infant sister Ruth, parents Clifford and May (nee Welsh) Robinson, nephew Jim Croom, niece Shirley Trembath, and nephew Ralph Croom.
