It is with great sadness that the family of Luigi (Louie) Galeotafiore announces his passing after his courageous battle with cancer. Louie passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the Dryden Regional Health Centre, surrounded by his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Tania; his children, James Moline (Kerry) and Lacie Galeotafiore-Meems (Darren); and his treasured grandchildren, Julia, Luca, Emily, and Matteo. Louie is also survived by his brothers, Salvatore (Elaine), Eddie (Brian), and Felix, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Raffaela Galeotafiore.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Dryden, ON with Father Mike Mahoney officiating.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Cook and the entire team at the Dryden Regional Health Centre for their compassionate care and support throughout Louie’s journey.
