Peacefully, in her 97th year Lorraine passed away at the Dryden Regional Hospital with family by her side. Lorraine was born in Kinistino, Saskatchewan, to her parents, Martin and Willa Lee.
Eventually, she made her way to Oxdrift, with Ken and Murray in tow, where she started her family with her husband Harvey Shorrock. Soon after the move, Sharon was born. There, they raised their children and enjoyed the country life.
After Harvey’s passing, Lorraine made her way to Dryden with Jack Parker. This is when Lorraine’s dedication to service became well known. She was often seen cooking and serving at the Legion and pouring tea at the go getters or Princess Court. These were things that she loved to do and did them diligently, till she was no longer able too.
Lorraine is survived by her three children, Ken (Donna) Shorrock, Murray (Faye) Shorrock, and Sharon (Gerald) Marion. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shannon (Dave) Syrija, Chrissy (Mark) St Jean, Doug (Becky) Shorrock, Jordan Shorrock, Harvey (Carrie) Shorrock and Alyssa (Kenny) Rodrigue. Great grandchildren, Bryce, Drew, Dyllan, Steven, Michael, Jaiden, Jaxon, James, Easten, Freya, Kylen, and Audrina
Lorraine is survived by her two sisters, Micki and Loyise. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey, life partner Jack, and siblings Lorne, Victor, Glenn and Ione.
