Lois Jean Lick (nee Brillinger)
June 12, 1933 – July 7, 2023
Wife of the late Elmer Harold Lick and mother to David, Daniel and Steven passed away at Princess Court on Friday, July 7 with David at her side. She had recently celebrated her 90th birthday.
Born in Stouffville, Ontario, Elmer brought Lois to Dryden “for four years” and they stayed for life.
Lois was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a dedicated church member, and a caring nurse. A fantastic baker and cook, she loved her houseplants, her scrapbooking and her family, not necessarily in that order. She would often bring strangers home from church for Sunday lunch. This hospitality extended to bringing home Cynthia from the Philippines, a much-loved addition to her family. Together with Elmer she also fostered Ramona and Esther.
Lois loved the Lord and lived her life worshipping and serving Jesus Christ.
Daniel is left to remember his mom tenderly along with David (Celeste) and Steven (Lisa. Missing her, are grandchildren Amber (Mark), Taylor, Courtney, Tiffany (Alexander), Bethany (Jack), Maddison, Brianna, Abella and Georgia, great grandchildren Matilda, Norah, Teddy, Lucy, adopted family Tim and Cynthia Fadden and their children Jasmine and Jade.
