Kenneth Parker March 3, 1955 - November 14, 2023

It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Kenneth Brian Parker who joined his heavenly father on November 14, 2023 with family surrounding him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Carol Marie Sutley, Grandmother Ethel “Nan” Cole, son-in-law Irvin Ross Dyck and countless other loved ones.

He is survived by his wife Linda Parker, daughters Jonie Adaille Dyck and her children Adyn Ross Dyck, Alyssa Marie Dyck (her child Corbin Ross Saunders), Jaye Lee Pyykkonen and husband Jonathan and their son Zakhar, and Cherie Parker and Matt Oversby. He is also survived by his brother, who he loved dearly, Bruce Sutley and his wife Kerry Sutley and their children.

His wife Linda Nicole Parker grieves the loss of her life partner, the love of her life, the father to her children and grandchildren. His family and friends will miss him deeply but know there is another life where we meet again, free of pain and sorrow to which our husband, brother, dad and Papa taught us passionately.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. A man of this stature in his family and friends’ life is well deserving of a tribute which involves planning. Details will follow and be made known to who wishes to attend.

    Dear Linda,
Praying God’s comfort on you and the girls and their families in the passing of your husband, their father and a dear friend of mine, Kenn. We got to know each other pretty good at FGBI and did a lot of fun and crazy things together. He was best man at my wedding and I was a groomsman at his. He will be greatly missed.
I can understand what you are going through, having lost my wife two years and five months ago. There is a great gaping hole in my heart that doesn’t seem go away as time goes on.
I am so glad that Kenn and I could get together for those four times since you moved out to Surrey after us not having any connection with each other for about 25 years. It was so good for both of us to meet a couple of times at Tim Hortons, once at your place and then at White Spot, our final meeting on this earth on September 14.
Praying for the Lord’s sustaining peace, comfort and strength for you and your family as you navigate this most difficult time.

    Love and prayers,
    Marvin Osman
