It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Jordan David Lang on June 21, 2025. A beloved son, father, brother, and uncle
Jordan was born December 28th, 1983 in Springhill Nova Scotia. He was loved from the moment he arrived. He grew up in Dryden and was well known to others as a “big guy” for his height, his build and personality. He had a passion for carpentry just like his dad and his great uncle, who he adored tremendously, and had the pleasure of working with him. A passion for fishing and guiding and was willing to take anyone out to show them all his great spots. Although there were struggles throughout his life, he always tried to see the brighter side and worked hard to better himself, never giving up.
Jordan had unwavering love for his children, Jaidyn Lang, Keynin (Maggie) Lang, Audrey Engel, and Atlyss Lang. He also leaves behind his mother Tanya Tocholke-Engel, step father Don Engel, father Jurgen (Lorraine) Lang, sister Shantacy (Bob) Johnston, sister Jireh Malyk, brother Kevin Engel, nephews Bobby, Jacob, Avery, and Evan. Nieces Jenna and London, one of his greatest supports of his life Renee Turpin as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He is predeceased by his grandmother Dwana Churchill, grandmother Inge Lang, grandfather Erwin Lang, stepfather Rick Tocholke, uncle Murray (Boosey) McLellan, great uncle Horst Lang, as well as other family and friends.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can stand against the devil’s schemes.” Ephesians 6:10-11
