Jean Henrietta Plomp

In loving memory of Jean Henrietta Plomp, age 90, who passed away on July 8, 2018.
Jean is survived by her husband of 70 years, Les Plomp, daughter; Barbara (Jim) Sturtevant and grandsons; Brock and Aaron Sturtevant and Leslie and Kris Plomp.
She was predeceased by her parents; Katherine and Adrian Timmerman, two siblings and her son David Plomp.
Jean and Les were married in 1947 in Winnipeg, MB. Shortly after their wedding, they moved to Moosehorn, MB, then to Ear Falls in 1968 and finally settling in Dryden in 1988. Jean was a homemaker, but still had time to enjoy her hobbies such as; knitting, canning and preserving and was also an excellent seamstress and cook. She participated in many church activities at the Dryden First Baptist Church including singing in the choir. She loved dogs and watching the deer that came to visit her home and even at the hospital. Jean was proud of her Dutch heritage and faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ.
