Ivan Probizanski March 3, 1944 - January 28, 2024

With sadness and love, we have made our final memory with Ivan.

Ivan is survived by his daughter Shelley, son in law Jeff and grandchildren Theo, Jessica and Ryan.  His mom, Eileen resides in Thunder Bay as does his two brothers, Bryan (Eleanor) and Bruce (Liz) plus many nieces and nephews.

Ivan was predeceased by his loving wife Judy, sister Wanda, brother Dennis and father Ernest.

Ivan was born in England and travelled to Canada via ship spending some of his first year in Manitoba.  Shortly after arrival, he settled with his mother and father in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Fast forward to the 1970’s when he met his loving wife Judy.  They settled in Dryden Ontario and that was where they remained to the end of their lives.

Ivan was proud of many things including his family, a fulfilling career at Dryden Telephone, hunting and those shenanigans, darts, building houses including three of his family homes and later in life being a good neighbor.  He was extremely generous and would find a way to help whenever he could.

He will be missed.

A big thank you to Princess Court.  You welcomed him and helped him to be the best version of himself.  He always told us how good it was to live there and we thank you for that.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Leave a Condolence

In his memory, should friends and family wish to donate to Princess Court DECO online or to Box 953, Dryden, ON P8N 3E3, or  to a charity of their choice, this would be much appreciated.
