Harold Ingebrigtsen October 4, 1938 - January 28, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital after a short illness.

Harold is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years Marian, children Valerie (Gerry) Artimowich, Cheryl Ingebrigtsen, Marvin (Kathryn) Ingebrigtsen and Darryl Ingebrigtsen, grandchildren Misti (Bri), Bradley (Kaileigh), Shelbi (Brandon), Shandi (Josh), Jack and Faith, great-grandchildren Lyndy and Elizabeth, sister Kristine (Mort) plus niece, nephews and their families as well as many relatives from Norway.

Harold was born in Winnipeg, to Birger and Margot Ingebrigtsen on October 4, 1938, and spent time in southern Ontario before the family settled in Eton-Rugby where he spent the majority of his life before moving to the community of Wabigoon.

Harold started his work career at the Dryden Paper Mill and moved into the world of construction as a Millwright, running crews on some of the larger projects in the province throughout the 80’s and 90’s including the mill expansion in Dryden.

Harold farmed in Eton Rugby into his 70’s with the help of Marian but also took time in later years to enjoy trips to Arizona, boondocking with his sister. He was an active member of the local snowmachine club clearing trails for others to enjoy.

Other hobbies included four wheeling, snowmobiling, camping, gardening, and there was something to build or fix.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date as cremation has taken place.
