Carl, Doreen, Bryan and family. On behalf of the MacKinnon family and our mother Marge we want to express our deep condolences at the loss of your mother. Marge was talking about your mother just last week and some of the adventures they shared throughout their lives. She was also very touched that they met this spring at the go getters. She will be missed.

Evalyn was one of the first people I met when we moved to Dryden in 1970. On a bowling team no less, a mix of younger and , what I thought of at the time, “older” ladies. Ev was so kind and welcoming to this newcomer, and although our paths did not cross a lot after those first years, every time we met we had a chat and caught up with each other. It was a friendship I cherished. She was well loved by family and all who knew her. My condolences to all of her family.

Doreen, Carl and Bryan… my heart goes out to your families at the loss of Evalyn; such a kind, sweet and fun lady. I think back to that great bunch of ladies working at the library and remember how fun it was to drop by for a chat. She was a great friend to my Mom, and will always be remembered fondly. We are better for having known Evelyn. Take care.
