Deanna Mary Coughlin
May 15th, 2009 – October 15th, 2025
Deanna Mary Coughlin, passed away peacefully, October 15th, 2025 at Winnipeg Children’s Hospital surrounded by family at the age of 16.
She was born May 15th, 2009 in Abbotsford, British Colombia to her loving father, Craig Coughlin.
Deanna was predeceased by her Papa (Lawrence Jewett), as well as her Great-Grandparents, Mary & Lyman Coughlin and Edna & Lionel Robar.
She will be lovingly remembered by her Dad (Craig Coughlin), Sister (Brenya Coughlin), Grandma Debbie & Grandpa Dale, Auntie Amanda, Uncle Joe, Joseph & Anna, along with numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Deanna thoroughly enjoyed Drama Club at Dryden High School. She was awarded “Most Valuable” by The Dramatic Arts Association in 2023-2024. Her presence will be missed on, and behind stage.
Deanna Mary Coughlin was a very smart girl with a spunky attitude. Besides the hole her passing will leave in the hearts and souls of family members, it’s tragic that the world will never know what was lost. Deanna loved reading, arts, learning new things, video games, computers, animals, thunder storms, jewelry, food, holidays and spending time with friends and family.
There will be a Memorial, Saturday, October 25th at 1:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M, held at Dryden Community Funeral Home. To honour Deanna, speeches are encouraged and welcomed.
“God’s garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best”
In lieu of flowers,
As dad has been off work for months to care for Deanna while she was in hospital, we are hopeful to crowd fund the costs of her memorial service and celebration of life. Any donation amount would be appreciated.
