It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Claire, at the age of 82, with loving family by her side.

Claire is survived by her children Stephanie and Derrick (Millie) Jackson, grandchildren Cheyanne, Sheena and Sarah, great-grandchildren Ryverly, Ryerson, Aspen and one on the way, sister Eilleen, brothers Vincent (Vivian) and Emmett, sister in laws Bernice and Hedley as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Claire was raised in Levack, ON where she completed her nursing degree and then met the love of her life Dennis Jackson at the Bluebird Restaurant. When married, they had two children Derrick and Stephanie. Later in life cam grandchildren and great grandchildren which she adored.
Some of her hobbies were cooking, sewing, baking and playing bingo which, she was able to a lot of during her retirement years in Salmon Arm, BC. She always gave back to her community and made friends easily and helped out anyone she met. Claire had many get togethers, she loved to entertain and there was always an endless supply of homemade food. Anything that she did was done to perfection. Claire had a smile that brightened your day and a contagious laugh that lit up the room.
Her large family was her pride and joy, and she will be dearly missed but never forgotten. We will continue to honour her legacy by enjoying life to the fullest.
Special thank for all the loving staff at Princess Court and the surrounding community that helped Mom throughout the years.

February 27, 2023 at 2:17 amMy condolences to Stephanie and Derrick and all your family members. I haven’t seen Aunt Claire for awhile but have fond memories of her. She was kind and would love to hear what us young kids would say and be interested in everyone she came into contact with. She was a beautiful person.
