The family of Bruce Valdock announces with heavy hearts his passing after a lengthy illness.
He leaves behind his wife Linda, daughter Sheila, sons Thane (Rosemary) and Darrel (Lana), daughter Serena (Evan), 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, brothers Ron (Julia), Linton (Trudy), Brian (Rossalyn), sisters Lisa (Dave), Lorelei, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Charlie, and Alice, as well as his sister Gayle.
Bruce worked at Dryden Paper Mill for 38 years until he retired at the age of 58.
If he wasn’t out hunting, fishing or scoping the country for Model T’s, you’d find him in his garage building something. He built his own Ice huts, hunting shacks, and Teepees. He was a collector of numerous things especially model T’s, cast irons and anything old. He loved his garden and was especially proud of his tomatoes.
The family hopes that you will join them in Bruce’s Celebration of Life Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 530 Theil Road, Dryden ON. There will be “Come & Go” Tea from 12-4pm. We would love to hear your memories of Bruce and his antics.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Second Chance Pet Network, Box 343, Dryden, ON P8N 2Z1 OR in person at 270 Wilson Rd. Dryden, ON.
