Brigitte Musyj

June 7, 1965 – October 25, 2018

In loving memory of Brigitte Musyj who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones in the early hours of October 25, 2018 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.

Brigitte is survived by her husband of 31 years, Conrad, her daughters Magan (Mike), Shelly (Charles), Zaira and Gabby, as well as many friends and family.

Brigitte was predeceased by her mother Hildegard Graham.

Brigitte Ingeborg Bissig was born June 7th, 1965 at the Dryden District General Hospital. Throughout the years Brigitte lived in, and saw, many rural areas of Northwestern Ontario, including Kenora, where her daughters were born, and Vermilion Bay. Always community-minded, she joined and enjoyed many local groups which included assisting in the founding of the Waldhof Wranglers. Brigitte was an avid gardener at home and around the area, particularly when she worked for the Municipality of Machin. Upon leaving her job at the Municipality she found a position at the Dryden Regional Health Centre, joining a work family that became as valuable to her as her family at home.

Brigitte will always be remembered by both her family and friends as a strong, stubborn, hard-working and incredibly selfless person. She touched many lives in her 53 years and will be sorely missed.

A service for Brigitte will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at the Lion’s Hall in Vermilion Bay at 1 p.m. with Father Daren Gallivan officiating.
