With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother Beverly Levenick. Beverly was born December 2, 1941 in Minto Manitoba. In 1963, she married the love of her life Doug. Beverly caught his eye and leaving nothing to chance asked her to the Sadie Hawkins dance. Together they travelled across Canada, making their home in Yorkton, Abbotsford, Calgary, and Medicine Hat before settling in Dryden in 1974.
Her daughters, Kristine and Jennifer, will forever cherish her love and friendship. She was just a phone call away to offer support, not to mention solving a few cooking problems along the way. In her memory we will strive to emulate her positive approach to life. We will remember her as a loving mother and wife.
Her commitment to others shone brightly though her volunteer work. Through Kinsmen and Kinettes she met numerous dear and lifelong friends. With her fellow band of Drydenites, she curled, camped and fished. As a snowbird, Beverly enjoyed winter travel to Yuma Arizona with her husband Doug. They took in the sunshine, happy hours, and dinners on the street. Her appreciation of others had the ability to make people feel special and her smile could light up the room.
Bev is survived by daughters Kristine (Greg) and Jennifer, grandsons Matthew and Ryley, sister Debbie and brother Leonard. She was predeceased by her husband Doug, and her parents Martha and Frank Zinger.
