It is with heavy hearts and extreme sadness that we announce our beautiful daughter and sister has been called home by Jesus Monday August 29th.
Ashley filled our lives with her beautiful smile, quick wit and her zest for life. Ashley’s presence and sense of humour could brighten any room. She loved to laugh and was known to test her friends with silly comical challenges.
Ashley had a big heart. She had a passion and love for all animals, in particular, the love of her life, her dog Misty. Ashley was filled with hopes and dreams, and always desired to help others.
Ashley was born and raised in Dryden, Ontario. Prior to high school Ashley was an avid swimmer with the Dryden Dolphins swim team. Ashley loved the outdoors. Whether it be swimming, skidooing, camping, or 4 wheeler rides, she was always happy to be outside and always made time to admire a beautiful sunrise or sunset.
Ashley recently graduated from a 1 year disciple with Adult & Teen challenge, Manitoba Women’s Centre where she succeeded above and beyond and earned pride in herself as well as the respect of all those around her.
Ashley is survived by and will be forever missed by her parents, Larry and Kari Shine, brother Josh Shine, grandmother’s Linda Flett and Arlene Lamb, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jesus has taken our angel to join those who have predeceased her. Grandparents Marilyn and Leonard Shine, William Lamb, Auntie Patti LaFleur and great grandparents Edla Orwick and Harry and Muriel Cooper.
