In loving memory of Jacqueline Rose Derosier, age 49, who passed away peacefully with her children by her side at Winnipeg Health Science Centre on October 30th, 2023.
Jacqueline is predeceased by her grandparents Napoleon and Mabel Derosier and Tom Belmore, her aunties Marylin Derosier, Thelma Ledoux (auntie Deewee), Frances Derosier (auntie Hubley), Margaret Lozej, Mary Derosier and Isabel Derosier (auntie Tootsie) along with her Uncles Daniel Derosier SR. and Raymond Derosier Sr. Her cousins Danny, Rheal and Alex Derosier, her stepfather Grant Finch and brother Jason Finch.
She is survived by her children Gavin Bouchard, Jaida Derosier, Axel Derosier, Malcom Bouchard and Denzil Bouchard and her only grandchild Jeyla Derosier who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her parents Adele Finch (Dilly) and father Percival Belmore, her aunts Judy Korobanik (auntie Chicken) (Tracy) and Louise Morin (Auntie Gwedett) (Roger). Her Brother Percy (Chrishtyann), nephew Anthony (Chad) Brown and Niece Leah Derosier and Special Sister Joanne Derosier as well as many cousins and relatives.
She spent most of her growing up in Wabigoon & Dinorwic Area with a brief time away at Sault College. Thunder Bay and Pays Plat. She was an avid naturalist with civic culture work experience. Jacqueline main job was being the most amazing mother to her five children and Momma to Jeyla. She enjoyed spending time beading, drawing, writing in journals as she had a creative mind. Jacqueline was a jokester and loved to do pranks to her family and friends. She would take her family on fun adventures to relaxing around a fire telling stories. Her best times were just being with her family by her side.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses from the Winnipeg Health Science Centre for their compassion, patience, and willingness to accommodate the family’s needs. To special friend Debra McLeod for taking care of the children, pets, and home while she was away. To Grandma Sherry Goulet for her support.
