It is with profound sadness that the family of Ron Coulombe share the news of his passing on August 26th, 2019 following a lengthy illness.

Ron is survived by his children; Rory (Carol), Cynthia, Brad (Tanya), Todd, Marion (Bob), Danielle (Randy), Jodi, Brad (Val), Jason and Jessica as well as his sister; Madge (Vic) and brothers; Bob (Diane) and Dave (Candace). Ron is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was predeceased by his parents; Noel and Geraldine, sister; Muriel and brother; Ken. He was also predeceased by his wife; Sylvia, daughter; Tammy, granddaughter; Samantha and his then life partner; Pat.

Ron was born in St. Rose Du Lac on June 19th, 1935. During his younger years, the family made several moves until settling in Atikokan. There Ron met his future wife Sylvia and they then relocated to Lynn Lake. Ron spent some time in Thunder Bay until moving to Dryden in 1983 where he lived out the remainder of his years.

Ron will be missed and forever loved.

 

Following Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 6th, 2019 at the Dryden Community Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Father Alan Campeau officiating.

Following the service and refreshments, placement of the urn will take place at the Dryden Cemetery.
