Lucien Levesque March 27, 1949 - October 28, 2020

In loving memory of Lucien Levesque who passed away on October 28, 2020 at the age of 71.

Lucien is survived by his partner Ginette Nichols, children; Richard (Amanda), Natalie (Joey) and Monique, grandchildren; Michael (Sarah), Mireille (Matthew), Alexi, Emillie, Brayton, Kaylyn, Tyson and Monica, great-grandchildren Olivier and Maxime, sisters; Berengere (Ludovic), Lucie, Julie (Gaeten), Carmen (Rodney), Andrea (Joscelin) and Rose and brothers; Lionel (Denise), Andre (Lucie), Maurice, Victorien, Florien (Carole) and John (Sandy).

Lucien was predeceased by his parents Albert and Aurore Levesque and his sister Victorienne.

Lucien grew up in St. Cleophas, Quebec where he learned the family logging business. He moved to The Pas and Moose Lake then settled in Ignace in 1992 when he purchased the family business from his brother. He worked hard until his retirement in 2014.

In 2009 he met Ginette and they had a lot a fun times together. They were both members of the Silver Tops and enjoyed the activities and volunteering. Lucien also enjoyed the Thunder Bay Casino and would often be found at Tempo in Ignace having coffee with the boys. Lucien loved spending time with his family and helping friends in the community by plowing their driveways among other things.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 12 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ignace, ON with Father Alan Campeau officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ignace Cemetery.
