Wallace Desbiens December 25, 1944 - July 7, 2024

Our family is saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved dad, Père, and friend.

Some knew Wally as a hunter and fisherman, others as a cooking and bingo enthusiast and most everyone knew of his love for music. “Walter Duschnikki” was a boisterous character who enjoyed making people laugh. An entertainer by nature, he always had a story to tell, albeit creative at times, or a song to sing with his guitar. Dad lived for the day; he was a free spirit who is now truly free.

He will be missed by his five children Tammy (Lawrence Martel), Pamela (JJ Ditchfield), Bill (Kathy), Derek (Sandra) and Jolene (Pierre Michel), 7 grandchildren Cynthia, Megan, Jordan, Sheridan, Kayleen, Cody and Alyssa, 4 great grandchildren Will, Johnny, Hailey and Wesley, and his only living sister Linda (Emile Miron). He was predeceased by his wife Mae.

A Living Celebration of Life was held at his home on June 8, 2024.
