Timothy Miles August 5, 1950 - August 25, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tim Miles on August 25, 2024.

Cherishing his memory will be his loving wife of over 50 years Shirley; son and daughter in-law Roly & Lidia; daughter Dana; his grandchildren Dylan & Miranda Kruger, Sequoia & Thomas Skene; and son-in-laws Scott McEwan and Scott Skene.  Tim is also survived by his older brother Fred; sister-in-laws Luana McKinstry & Linda (Marvin) Alberts; brother-in-laws Raymond Hutchison (Karen) & Phil Woods and many nieces and nephews.

Tim was predeceased by his daughters Lori and Debbie; his sister Sharon Betker and his parents Evelyn & Stanley Miles and mother & father-in-law Wanda & Ross Hutchison.

Dad was always one to be awake and ready to start each day well before sunrise. Quietly sitting in his recliner reading, waiting for dawn so he could start his day by taking a long walk. The weather never deterred this daily routine. Dad simply loved being outdoors enjoying all things Mother Nature had to offer. He found a great peace and sense of accomplishment puttering around the family farm. Whether tending to his ever expanding lawn, working in his wood shop, cultivating his garden, or managing the homestead timber stands, he always did it with a great sense of pride and purpose. A life well lived.

Our family would like to express our gratitude to the staff of the Critical Care Unit of the Dryden Regional Hospital for all the care and compassion that Tim received. Dad wanted to let his nurses know he was extremely grateful for the way you treated him and comforted him in his final days.  Thank you!

Respecting Tim’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service, and a private interment of ashes will occur at a later date.
