It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our mom Terry Hatch on May 5, 2024, at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. Born in LaFleche, Saskatchewan on February 1, 1927. She lived in many places across Saskatchewan before the family settled on a quarter section of land in Makwa. In 1948, Terry moved to Dryden with her sister Marg, following in the footsteps of their parents and brothers. She married Harry Hatch on August 11, 1953.
Mom especially loved bridge, curling, bowling, fishing and our cabin at Ghost Lake. During her lifetime she was active in the Catholic Women’s League and North Dryden Community Centre. She volunteered for the Suicide Prevention Hotline and Meals on Wheels.
Terry is survived by her children Stephanie, Peter (Karen), Michael (Pamela), Dennis (Donna), and Kathryn, six grandchildren Caitlan Drew (Clint), Jordan (Rylee), Bradley, Sarah (Marcus), and Jordan and Adam Swientek, as well as three great grandchildren Abigail, Lillian and Isabelle Drew.
Predeceased by her husband Harry James Hatch, brothers Albert, Jerry, Lucien, and Roland Legault, sisters Germaine Laverdiere, and Marg Kirkby (nee Makuch).
Mom will be long remembered by her bread and butter tarts.
The family would like to thank all the nurses at the Dryden Regional Health Centre for their compassionate care they gave to our mother.

May 11, 2024 at 1:40 pmStephanie & Kathy, I had the pleasure of meeting your Mom on her visits to Calgary to see you girls, she was a lovely lady with a beautiful smile, I was fortunate enough to be treated and enjoy a few of her great meals. She bestowed a wonderful family bond with all her children & will truly be missed. Now your Mom is dancing & carrying on with your Dad, happy and at peace.
